Chateau Hounds (Oil)
I was inspired to do this painting by a picture I took during my 1992 trip to France and the chateaus of the Loire Valley. One such Chateau still had these hounds for hunting. This piece was purchased by Patty Kelly.

At Rest And Play (Oil)
My friends and insurance broker from ?Hunter, Wilson & Kelly Ltd.? commissioned me to do a painting of their two dogs from their photos. I created a composition of two pictures one that had the dogs by the pool side and another which had the dogs lying on the couch but I used my artistic license and made it look like they were resting by the pool side. Later Patty Kelly advised me that she had a small four year old visitor ask her where the other two dogs were!

On Your Mark (Chalk Pastel and Vaseline )
This drawing was done in my last year at Brock in 1989. I was exploring the use of chalk pastel and Vaseline and the theme of sports. This drawing was given to the Arts Department upon request by the Professors to be left in their collection.
